'I wouldn't date an unattractive girl' speaks volumes to the shallowness of the speaker....and......from personal experience.....the ignorance. On separate ocassions....many years ago...circumstances required my unannounced presence at the homes of women I considered stunningly attractive.... initially I failed to recognized them....for they were totally without make-up. I walked away each time....shocked by the unmasking....but delighted..to have made the acquaintance of...yet....another...'beautful person! '

Ah, indeed... I've a few of those 'I can't believe you really said that - it's going to be really hard not to despise you now because you did [and I'm not so sure I'm really even trying]' things that have been bouncing around in my head. I swear I think 'they' don't know just how crappy a remark it was and therefore cannot fathom someone else realizing the same. Thing is... they seem to float out of them in big, bold, bright red fonted, practically self-screaming words, don't they? I enjoyed this. I like the style and flow and lovely little 'zing' to it. I love the double-dash/line break immediately before 'verbatim'... nice touch. Christine
