Red Lace - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Red lace
soft against my skin
I felt so vulnerable and stupid
but you made
all that disappear
and I felt
under your gaze

You said that I
took your breath away
You always knew
the perfect words
what would make me feel

Things change
Time passed
and now
the red lace feels like
razors againt my skin

What was once so
delicate and beautiful
turned into something
tainted and ugly

Your spin was nice
you are a master
at your game

Not everyone can make
me feel

so beautifully dirty
