Resting - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Getting some much needed rest
from being awake for so long
and exhausted from all the emotions I feel.
Please come join me dear and we'll
just lie here in bed this morning
resting feeling so safe and peaceful
in each others arms.
I'm in need of deep rest please come
join me and hold each other so tight.
Some much needed rest from the deep
exhaustion and fatigue I feel within me,
I want you to come lie beside me and
tightly wrap your arms around me.
Telling each other how much we are in love,
I would really like and need your
company and comfort now.
Please come rest with me sweet lady
and hold me tight rubbing my face and head.
I love you my Angel you fill me with peace.
