Screen Door - Poem by Kelly Kurt

Walls keep in, in and out, out
Panes of glass, barriers too, allow passage but to light
But a screen door is more selective
Barring insects
Allowing light
Breathing in and out
At the same time saying
Here I am
But knock before you enter
I am a screen door

Funny how our much the same screen doors can hold on or hold out different emotions. Happy to see your spin....
A new friend, I gladly open my door to. Thank you for your visit. May all strangers I encounter on my doorstep, leave as my friend. PEACE.

What a nice thing to read! I wish you peace as well. May your screen door be a portal to happiness.
