She Is What Is Says - Poem by Krystal Bonnetta
When she say that she is fine she might be lying
But she is sorry that she can’t come out and say it.
Under all the make up and hair spray is just
A girl lost in her self waiting for something to
Happen that will take the pain of her family away
She can’t sit there and tell them that they have hurt
Her because she is scared for what they might say.
She knows that she is not perfect and nor dose she
Try to be. But if you could just take one second
To listen so she can tell you how her life makes her
Feel… she is never happy when she says that she is.
She dose not feel good enough for anything nor anyone
She sits there and dose so much but no one can see it
There are no thank you’s or anything it’s always just an
On going battle for her happiness she is always so sad
And you can hear her cry when you stand out side her
Window one day she is hoping that an angel will come
And take her away, away to somewhere, where she is loved
For here on earth she is not.
