She Sits Alone Again - Poem by Thabang Khanye
She sits alone again
trying to pretend
that all she used to live for
was the love that wasn't there.
And every time she needed to do things
she believed will fulfill the void inside of her
because she was never there.
she tried to sleep again
And wonders when will the pain end
the cuts runs deeper than her cracking outer shell.
she looked with tired eyes
at all the people hypnotized
and wonders what can save her
from her self created hell.
