Sighing With Passion And Depression - Poem by Danielle Assouline

She sits there depressed and with passion in her eyes,
And in her mind only he is there.
Hard to forget,
She keeps thinking about him.

Unbelievably in love with him,
No one person can even understand her feelings,
She has so many mixed feelings,
Doesn't know what to think anymore...

She and him have a forbidden love,
They communicate (hardly) in secret,
But it is something,
That day will come when they can be exposed to the mysterious earth.

She is waiting for that day,
Until then she sits, growing impatient,
But it's worth it, she says, Still waiting......

I loved this because it had understated sentiment. That is the way it is done.
This was a tremendous writing and I hope no one misses it .
