So Deep Is The Hurt - Poem by Orlando Belo
The emotions you stirred by your actions and words,
have caused turmoil in my heart.
The situation you created was not anticipated,
and I'm stunned by your discard.
Now I've been left, feeling deserted and bereft,
on an island of emptiness.
Whilst you float on air, in heaven knows where,
full of joy and happiness.
But the most annoying thing is my suffering,
and the fact that I still love you.
But you no longer miss the touch of my kiss,
and there's nothing I can say or do.
