So Deep Is The Hurt - Poem by Orlando Belo
The emotions you stirred by your actions and words
have caused turmoil in my heart.
The situation you've created was not anticipated
and I'm stunned by your discard.
Now I've been left, feeling deserted and bereft
on an island of emptiness.
Whilst you float on air in heaven knows where
full of joy and happiness.
The most annoying thing is my suffering
and the fact that I still love you.
But if you no longer miss the touch of my kiss,
there's nothing more I can say or do.
