Sonnet Of Mine Soul - Poem by Charldre Banks

oh the turmoil of my thoughts in soul
the torment of being embroiled without know
the distance so near, the presence so far
like water and oil, ostentatious renoir...

oh scarring of thine, inter-twined with mine
emotion and feelings so often do dine
oh crumbs of fragrance from love left ascatter
desperation so cruelly warped into shatter...

oh dare the light break through the mist
the muddy clarity so eagerly behest
come tenderness overwhelm, engulf this doubt
elevate this mind, body and spiritual clout...

and whilst thy enthrone me with passionate sweet nothings
my souls been request to martyr sincere 'hushings'
