Special Angels - Poem by Kayla Hotaling

They are angels
Sent from heaven above
To give us care
And give us love
They are beautiful creatures
Who wipe away
All our tears
And clear away
All our fears
When our spirits are down
They hold us tight
And give us the strength
We need to fight
They brighten our days
In such simple ways
Just by saying
They love us
I am lucky and proud
And will say it out loud
I was blessed with
An angel all my own
She has been there for me
As I have grown
She has been there for me
Through thick and thin
She is one of my greatest kin
She is a very true friend
That I am thankful
To have until the end
And I am greatful
To be the one
Besides my sister and brother
To be able to call her
My mother

Wonderful poem, Kayla. I had an angel mother, too. Thanks for sharing this poem with us. Keep writing. (Report) Reply

At the end you converged all that you wrote into your beloved Mother. How happy you are that you have such a mother and how happy your mother is that a daughter like you write eulogy on the Mother's love and protective instincts. loved this poem. thank you
