Spring Lover - Poem by Lisa Goodwin

Cold wind,
Kissing my cheek.
Rosey, red,
Numbing,
Long winters.

You again,
Delivered by the zephers.
On a whim,
Or fate.....

The burn of chill,
Slowly melting....
Into your arms,
Dressed in the sunrise,
Climbing,
Above the horizon.

My favorite colors.
Your eyes reflect.

Crocus surprises,
Forsithia smiles,
Tulip touches,
Daffodil dalliances.

For a brief moment,
All of life is captured.

Spring harmony,
All is,
Growth,
Love,
Hope,
Strength.

I roll over,
Restlessly,
Tosssing the feathers,
To dream again.
