Sweet Dreams Of May - Poem by Slime F.Maggot
The moaning moon whispered sorrow
and what mournful dirges like those whispered by the moon
what morbid thoughts those whispered by the moon
Tantalized....my lust i follow
Killing, dying, pale and cold
the moon rays that were left unfold
those hopes that were gone astray
what dreams were left from May?
those dreams i can't forget
the pain i can't rid
the tears i can't shed
over those...who were left in May
By the leaves of Autumn mist
and the roads the fate doth twist
by the dirges the Moon doth cast
and my hopes that have gone so fast
I beg you by the Autumn leaves
to rid the pain that my heart it grieves.
I weep for the dreams of May
and the joy she gave me everyday
for the vixen that vowed
on her life that she never allowed
to lose me...
she vowed that her heart is safe with her
and i felt so
but i lost everything...
The epiphany was mellow
and mourfull was the willow
i sat beaneathin the jolly days of may.
that her dreams were dry, and
killing were her laments
as in still wind they fly.
and with every single deadly scratch
of a tear, i remember when my match
has taken my fair maiden
and left me as mad as Haiden
sickened with my mind laden
with the sweet dreams of May.
