The Fall - Poem by Haley Lackey
Yesterday I was strong,
Today I fell with my knees to break the fall.
The days were short, now are long.
I'm waiting for just one call.
My head up high, now is low.
Moving on then I froze.
Everything goes by so slow.
I still have that single rose.
Can you tell me what went wrong?
Did I even need you before the fall?
Can you sing me one last song?
But please don't call me doll.
Can you feel the hurt thats been living on?
Will you save me with one call?
Soon enough I'll be gone.
You didn't save me from the fall.
I guess it was all my fault.
