The Half Naked Frown - Poem by Sathish Shanmugam
Is it the same as everyday
Or is it the pleasures of dismay
Whine all I can and I will
But the clock is never the same never still.
I walk down the lane
Of love, for what my heart fears
And down came the rain
To wash down my tears.
I sat right down
With a half naked frown
I look at the cloud
And think it all aloud.
Why the inane lies
And why the masked face
And where goes the meaning
Of the so called warm embrace.
