Thinking The Unthinkable - Poem by Indira Donegan
How is it so?
Every moment you steal
has more mass per unit
than the air between us.
It is the difference between Physics and Chemistry.
(Can i blame this on Biology?)
In your absence
these moments press down on me;
a vice on the air inside me.
And i scramble to busy idle thoughts
Before the purpose finds a footing.
