Till The Dawn - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

Someone called me by my name
I thought it must be you
I waited and waited long
With desires all bright and new
I waited throughout the day
I waited throughout the night
I didn't even sleep
Or close my eyes right
But you were so much busy
And you were so much lost
In this frenzy world
That doesn't pay the cost
And all those drops of tear
I dropped in pain and moan
And in the state of hurt
Till the appearance of the dawn.

Missing You sunny
