War - Poem by samuel webber

when you think about war what comes to mind
is it the destruction of mankind
maybe just the senseless waste
leaving your mouth with a awful taste

Focus on yourself before invading
my argument is quite persuading
why the people cheer
when the soldiers come marching near

I will never know why the crowd applauds
when they are send them into death's jaws
hopefully this will soon be fading
its really all quite degrading

if it doesn't stop soon
then we'll have to live on the moon
