What A Woman Says - Poem by Sarah Noffke
Can I take a moment of your time?
I promise it won't be wasted.
Are you listening to me?
It's hard to talk when you look away.
It is difficult enough to open up.
I don't need another reason not to.
Did you understand what I said?
It was what I thought about, that I never said, when I was
saying something about what I never thought.
Don't tell me you missed it.
As I was saying, do you remember the last time we talked?
