What I Miss - Poem by Gordon Jerome

What do I miss?
These things you should know
The taste of her kiss
Her smiles warming glow
Talks on the swing
Where we sat each night
The feel of my ring
When we held hands tight
Her stubborn streak
When she knew what to do
How she could seek
The very best out of you
The way she talked
Her own thoughts on life
The way she walked
By my side as my wife.
“closing thought”
But once in a lifetime comes a love so true,
That forever within it becomes part of you.
