What Makes I

What makes I, and what makes you and what makes us do what we do.
Why don't I think like you and what makes you think like you do?

What is it that I visit every time we share a look,
Why do I look at the sky and feel overawed?

What is life, all trouble and strife to get no where
Why should I care?

What was it you said, that past years are dead
Why aren't I?

It would be rude to tell you now.
Of the what the why and the how,
So I wont.
