Where Angels Fear To Tread - Poem by Marcia Gravett

Take a closer look
You will see my heart
As pure as gold
Seek the good in me
The bad will soon disappear
I am only a mortal
You are my Angel
Brought here from an unknown dream
Came to rest in my heart
It used to be a place where angels like you
Feared to tread
With your love and support it has grown strong and passionate
Radiating love for you
You alone
My heart is fragile and precious
My dreams have been traumatized
Take a walk with me and you will see
Where angels fear to tread
Is only just my heart
