Where You Are Now - Poem by Tosha Cassidy

Where you are now,
I cannot see,
Where you are now,
I wish I could be.

I see your face in my dreams,
and the silence I hear,
Wishing for a miracle,
wishing you were here.

I can't think of reasons,
why you had to go,
It was all so soon,
I didn't even know.

The last good bye,
I didn't know would be my last,
No one even cared to tell me,
that you had passed

I think about you every day,
fight the tears back with smiles,
soon I'll only be thinking of you,
every once and a while.
