Without You - Poem by Tamara Moir

Without you,
I am a flame
With no heat
A song
With no beat
A car
With no wheels
A dinner
With no meals
A queen
With no king
A phone
With no ring
I dont love you
Because I need you
I need you
Because I love you
But without you
I am a cat
With no claws
A town with no laws
Without you
I am a girl
Waiting to die
Without you
I am a girl
Waiting to fly.
