Year 9 - Poem by Aditi Khandelwal
Oh! This year was so fine
I remember the starting, in McD we dine!
The year started with too much gossip and shocks.
First, our class teacher with an angry expression
Her face is locked!
Second, there's this new guy for whom
All girls have got hots!
Third, teachers only talk about our doom
"Study hard, you have to give exams soon! "
Nobody can believe this year finished so fast,
Just now we had Holi, Diwali and Dandiya blast!
Now only one year then everyone will part
How much I will miss those paper planes,
Thrown at each other like darts!
Some stupid girls believed that their looks can kill
But seriously, I think they are mentally ill!
If now I start about my friends,
This poem will get very long or maybe never end!
But some people are worth mentioning,
Like my best mate Shubhangi,
She talks less, but is never boring.
I will always remember how she consoles me,
But the best is, when for me she calls someone "Dusht"
And all sorrow goes away like magic, woossh!
The next is maybe Anushka,
With her class famous laughing hysteria!
She is too dramatic and loves to overreact,
But she is really nice and that's a fact!
One person I will always remember is Sanskriti,
Has lovely dimples and is always happy!
She loves to sing and loves to dance,
She fails to cheer someone? No chance!
Then there is oh! So very famous Neil,
For him no problem is a big deal!
He is a ghost loving teddy bear'
But with great brains and silky hair!
One of my friends is Ankush,
He can make me happy even when I am in trash!
Loves cars and bikes but drives rash,
His talks makes my head no better than potato mash!
There is also Aman who loves cricket,
He is a big fan of Yuvraj Singh!
Without him he will be like a lost wicket.
He worships him and makes songs on him and sings!
