A Gem - Poem by TheSilent Loudness
The essence of the unknown is a gem,
Hidden amongst misfortune, countless pain.
What you can find in areas condemned,
Will help keep you from going back home again.
So lost you wander, in naïve shared love,
It controls you, constrists you, restricts you
From life- you like it, you love it ‘cause of
How it makes you feel right (the pain withdrew) .
One in a million, that one chance you took
Turned for the better, a gamble well spent.
Love? Rarity! - you'll find none when you look,
But a gem you found, so be glad you went.
A search in the sand for a speck of salt,
The search for love is a life-long assault.
