A Pin-Code - Poem by Karnail Singh Heirwale

A Pin-Code

Can a pin-code decode
A city
Its aura,
Its festivities?
Dissipated we sit by
Work or idleness whores after
In afactory or office,
University or college,
On the road or foliage.
Our age allows yus no rest
We rust
Or dust the bin
The knickknack founders
Chipping the mind
Into pieces
On its own
With a moan.

I think a pin-code cannot decode the living soul of a city because a city is not just made of concrete, stones and bricks... Nice poem, Sir.
    Regards.
