A Teacher Corrective Compulsive - Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Driving along, in the life journey,
We at times opt to take the back seat
Not that the road is turned rough
Nor the greeneries go fading
We become tired
By pursuing aspirations aplenty
More than many at a time
We need rest, we need rethinking,
We need a bit of reassembling
Our plans and purpose

We often like to hand over the wheel
To our dear ones most trustworthy

Life sometimes turns out a bitter teacher
Much corrective, compulsive

    So very true.
    A wonderful and insightful poem.
Yes, the intricacies of life drain us.
Our dreams and aims in life oftentimes push
    us to the limit.
There is a need to settle for a while to renew our strength
    and enthusiasm.
A well thought out write beautifully crafted.
