And Yet I Go On - Poem by Dor Leventer

I run away
from love that blinds me

i walk away
from hate that drives me

i crawl away
from the things the move me

i run away
and yet i move on
always away
and yet i go on

i run away
from what seethes within me

i turn away
from what i find inside me

i lock away
the feelings that fill me

i run away
and yet i go on
always away
and yet i go on
go on without you,
and yet i go on
