Another Man - Poem by Håvard Reiersgård

Walking alone a cold winter day
Just wishing that i could stay
But I know that my life’s soon over
I’m in a war zone without armor

Saw you now with another man
But I really don’t know if I can
Walk through the pain of this
Plus the fact that I miss your kiss

The world is rotting and falling apart
I wish I’d chosen you from the start
Now I’m walking along with death
Soon I’ll take my last and final breath

I don’t know how I can survive
Waiting for the moment to arrive
When Satan opens the gates of hell
I know that this did not end well

I just lost my life and I lost you
What in heaven’s name can I do
There is nothing left for me now
And then the question is how
