Dear Love - Poem by Jelaine Delossantos
Dear love, you've deceived me again.
All you gave me was simply a friend.
Someone to talk to, someone's company to enjoy.
Someone who I wish was my special boy.
However, hes just a friend, that why I have to pretend.
Pretend that I dont love him, pretend that I dont care.
Pretend that I dont want to be over there.
There with him, there with my life.
He's the only special light.
But, I guess I have to leave this dream.
I have to get out of what it seems.
I cant go on without his love, so then again...
I've been deceived.
