'First Meeting Place' Poem by james watkin

'First Meeting Place'

Rating: 3.0

Greatest of them honoured here.
Which of landmark days upon
As bold marked by, of its own
'Lover's statue', with posy
Is to be tossed, smilingly:

That inscribed 'First Meeting Place'.
Euphoria. Dawned on by chance.
Not that Time-site, vow-taking's
Fearful clouding over, up-led;
Nervy-blowy; farsighted.
