For A Friend - Poem by Marissa Mae
What a lovely little inconvenience,
To bring out how I really feel.
You have the strength of a lion and a heart of gold,
But mostly you have the ability to heal.
Your heart and love both so full,
It hurts me that you can't see
Everything you have done
For the bleeding, just like me.
Knowing that I could never do the same for you
Hurts me even more.
My heart aches to know that I can't help
When YOU are dying on the floor.
Just remember: boys are temporary, friends are forever.
And forever I swear to be.
Someone you can come to,
Someone who will help you see
That even if your heart gets broken,
You can always trust in me.
