For Now I Breathe My Last - Poem by Sumpter Carter
(This was a short poem after a long time of poem-writing)
For now I breathe my last
Trembling from exert
My hand can't hold steady
So powerful was my work.
And though reader
Untouched you may be
There are many things
To which you were privy.
