For The Sake Of Tomorrow - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

The feelings of
trust and closeness
Is a mystical combination
that brings you
All the delight of life
Where you learn to seek
For the treasure
Of
Understanding
And care....
Where the road is never long
To take you to
The path of peace and love
Where you can
Sing a song
And learn to deal
With things
One at a time
And experience
Strength and courage
In moments of
Deep sadness and hopelessness.....
And that is when you learn
What is important in life
And
What you need to do
For the sake of tomorrow.......

I like the way some of your poems highlight the significance of optimism in human life. And this poem is one of them. Thanks for the nice piece, Seema. (Report)Reply

The beauty of truth is in this poem, if we look after the small problems as they come the bigger ones are so much easier to handle. Seema your words are beautiful and I am sure you have a life filled with love and happiness. Bob (Report)Reply
