Glimpses Of Departed Souls - Poem by Vinita Sahu
Glimpses of departed souls,
Floating into the eyes,
Fills them with film of tears,
That freezes with ageing time.
Where to find them?
Are questions no more prime,
As long as we find them,
A place into our hearts sublime.
Their journey to unknown locale,
Leaving behind no tangible trail,
Won't fail to subdue fondness,
Nestled deep into our brain.
Though death, at its behest,
Life's final crest,
Hinges a permanent cleft,
Leaving one inevitably bereft.
