Good Men Wouldn’t Kill One Another - Poem by Mark Heathcote

Good men would die for a father
Good men would die for a king
Good men would die for a mother
Good men would die for a queen

Good men would die for a daughter
Good men would die for a home
Good men would die for a brother
Good men would die for a son

Good men would die for a sister
Good men would die for a lover
Good men would die for a country
Good men wouldn’t kill one another

Good men wouldn’t murder & slaughter
In the name of yesterday’s defender
In the name of a Lord or a boarder
Good men couldn’t kill a stepbrother.
