Had I Never Been In The Way - Poem by Clara Odelia Ciutara

If I hadn’t chosen this way
Who would I be?
The path has changed my whole life
And has made me see a world
A world I would have never known
Had I never walked the way
The world I live now

If I hadn’t been there
Where would I be walking now?
What would I be doing now?
The way I’d chosen has given me much
More than I’d ever thought I could get
Beyond a dream I’d considered impossible
If I hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t be me

it reminds me of poem 'the road not taken'... but all in all i appreciate it... at least you're happy with life... keep the smiles up! (Report) Reply
