If I Were Queen - Poem by rene janerico

Oh, my love, if I were Queen,
I'd give you all I own.
My golden scepter from my hand,
my crown, my jewels, my throne.
But more than these, I'd give to you,
For riches melt away.
I'd give you just a loving heart.
The heart I give today!
