'Lady In The Well' - Poem by Randy Moore

Redemtion had always been her friend and was soon a new loath
bitched and buried in the welll down near the cove
she had been thrown in by the belled baby toes
felt up and wheeled out by who know one knows
she been raped with widom and stripped to die
her mother wept alone and wept with time
the rats moved in and soon to find
the green-blue life of algae blind
she woke to the sky and victims lice
and had a wonderment of she felt like christ
she was and was a source to say
and never would she go away
like they had and always would
she knew the times and understood
sin was over life raged in
ever word ever though had been ragged thin
and she would always know the question that would stay
only would the devil care if she went away
