Lies. - Poem by Samantha Rae
things happen for a reason
but the reason is unkown
if the fault isn't ours
then how's the lesson to be owned?
opening your mouth but not your mind
things are said but aren't meant
if you don't mean it, don't just say it
the truth is broken when it's bent
thoughts and feelings will be hurt
and people will be lost
to get back to the truth,
we ask 'what is the cost? '
