Love Not Included - Poem by Tonya Graham

Why did you smile at me that day
make me turn my head your way
Was that part of the game

You never cared
You proved that to be true
You left me feeling empty and blue

Why didn't you tell me this game didn't include love
Why did you scar my heart and go away
I now suffer with the pain and hurt everyday

I didn't mean to fall in love with you
but away from it all you were kind and true

But thats the way you play
Love not included in your game

Well I feel the same way about this one. Isn't love just a game we all play? (Report) Reply

Honest and slightly bitter. I kinda like it! (Report) Reply
