Lust Doesn't Last - Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Lust is lust
And doesn't last.
When I thought that lust is Love,
I found out that I don't love.
As I tried the lust to humanise,
That I barely care, I realised.
So sweetly I did melt — madly in fire!
What for?
If Lust is only an illusion I desired.

Yes! To love is better than to lust. Nice work. (Report) Reply

Lust is a highly volatile emotion fueled by vain glorification of beauty or sexual magnetism. It endures for a while before making its exit leaving the victim wondering why he/she felt that way. A nice train of thoughts encapsulated into a good poem. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem ANC AND THE STRUGGLE. (Report) Reply
