Kavita Tha

Muse - Poem by Kavita Tha

A certain peace is felt
when I sit in silence
As the rain falls onto my upturned face.
With a brush in hand
sweeping across a canvas
with your touch
across my shoulder.

Thick liquid paint,
dripping from the brush
luscious, languid
strokes across the canvas.
Drinking in the idea
Presence of greatness
Potential beauty
Always lies in the promise.
