Our Lady Moon

Once the moon was tilted to her side
Like she was playing the violin.
Tonight she is round in the black sky.
Her soft, beautiful smile is shining.

For now the moon is simply happy
While she's in concert with all the stars
And not looking down toward us sadly
This clear night from above and afar.

The moon is a bright circle of light
So silvery and up high so full,
Smiling way past the twinkling twilight.
At my heart strings she lovingly pulls.
