Saturday Night Snuggle 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sweet love it's been a long day
full of not the toughest chores
but full none the less and another
hard day of deep aching as I miss my lady so great,
now that dinner is over and the cleaning
is not my issue on this very evening
I want to just sit back with you
and so tightly and lovingly snuggle in warmth.
I want to for a short bit so softly talk
and as I lightly drift hope you would read to me aloud.
I want to hear your heavenly voice and just
conjure the images of the story in my mind that you paint,
I want to snuggle with my Queen on this eve
knowing everything around me is peaceful and good.
Kira then we can just lay down with each other
and rest your head on my chest as you curl up in my arms,
we'll share some kisses and sweet words of comfort,
I'll hold you so tight through the night
rubbing your back and stroking your hair.
Kira I'm so very tired and I love you,
please come snuggle with me my beautiful Angel.
I adore you sweet Kira and love you so deeply
just feel me beside you holding you so very tightly.
I miss you so much and will be looking for you in my dreams
and feel all of my warmth and love because
I'm always with you my precious darling so great,
you are the most beautiful woman and I cherish you sweetie.
