Seize The Pain - Poem by Nichole Hoehn

A pain in my wrists
As the bones crack with in
A scar to hide
From all of my sins
I punish myself
But you’ll never know why
This is my life, my choice deep inside
You won’t understand
You will get the words wrong
You’ll forget the feeling of losing a loved one
You’ll laugh with ease and start to speak
Get over him well that’s easy to think
You try to live your wonderful life
With your first love running through your mind…
