Starting Over - Poem by Biscuit Collection

Today, as I start anew
I leave the past behind.
Every memory, every moment
Remains but distant past.
As I open my eyes
Uncertain of the future
And even of the now,
I shall welcome the real
And hinder the faux
I shall seek the depths
All for a certainty
That I may be braver
Much stronger
Though hope seems faint,
And the cards are down
Still I take a little step further
Now braver,
Now stronger;
