I went because I loved
The sound they came up with
But the rest that I went with
Were falling for the band
The cover band, that is

And they believed they conquered them
But all I know, they are used to this
And they don’t fall for girls like me
Girls who take more than a drink
Or 15 minutes to seduce

Girls who won’t believe
All the touches and sweet talking
Girls who are overall smarter
Girls like me, girls like me
All I know, is that guys like they can’t get girls like me
