The Rose - Poem by Sam Roberts

Beauty to all,
Soft, smooth petals,
Thorns have some;
Colours, sensuous and bright.
Love and sorrow,
Purity they mean.
Roses a flower,
But more they are;
Meanings, feelings roses do be.
I love a rose,
No other compares.
Roses, Roses,
No more needs to be said.
