Then, And Now - Poem by Dora Berry

You were older then, your older now

You''ve been my role model, then, and now

You''ve made mistakes, then, and now

I knew they were wrong, then, and now

I wanted to look up to you, then, and now

But I''ve know better, than, and now

That those mistakes you made then

Are not mistakes I want to make now

So I hope that you have learned now

From the mistakes you''ve made then

That they hurt those who love you, now

But the love we had for you then

We still have for you now,

And most of all the love I have for you, then and now

But most of all forever
